At ClearOceans we contribute 5% of our profits to Ocean Conservation Projects that are making a positive and real impact on the future of the oceans. Each year we select 3 projects to benefit from this donation and use the following 3 categories – Community Development, Science & Education, Waste Management. A New Day in Lamakera

Community Development Programme focusing on Alternative Livelihoods

A New Day in Lamakera is a collaborative development project between The Manta Trust, Yayasan Misool Baseftin & Reef Check, which aims to bring an end to marine megafauna fishing in Lamakera, East Indonesia.

Why We Support Them
The project focuses on skills development; from sustainable fishing, to tourism and research. This pioneering approach will transform the megafauna into a valuable commodity which will consequently provide sustainable futures for the community.

Educational Charity for Shark Conservation and Research

Shark Guardian is a non-profit Charity for shark and marine conservation, education, awareness and research projects worldwide. This inspiring team believe education is at the core of supporting the future of shark conservation.

Why We Support Them
Their passion for sharks and educational presentations will inspire and impress even the most seasoned divers. We love that their primary focus is sharing their story with schools and influencing the younger generation to care for sharks.
